The Role

Are you a project engineer looking for a fresh challenge, or the chance to improve your career?

My client is a part of an international group of engineering companies with a world leading reputation. Due to their current plans for expansion, they currently have a vacancy for a project engineer to perform daily management of all aspects of customer?s orders? including cost/risk awareness, internal & external communications and effective document control.

Responsibilities

  • Daily management of customer representatives.
  • Arranging effective project meetings internally, throughout the duration of the project as required.
  • Processing of orders received from Sales on SAP, in a timely fashion to ensure that customer delivery dates are achieved, and that we receive payment in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions
  • Highlighting deviations/delays/risks to customers on a timely basis.
  • To ensure that all commercial terms of the orders are adhered to throughout the scope of supply.
  • To ensure that all project costs/quotations are made available to Engineering/Supply Chain throughout the duration of a project.
  • To monitor/highlight all commercial risks throughout the duration of a project ie. LD?s etc.
  • To work as an effective team member offering flexibility of cover and assistance to others as required.

    • Requirements

  • Engineering degree qualified or a minimum of 2 years experience of project management and/or customer management.
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to take responsibility and make decisions in the resolution of problems

    • The company is offering an excellent benefits package to the right candidate, including a salary range of ?25-30K p.a.
